Quality Assurance Lead
Ensure all maintenance operations meet and exceed FAA regulatory requirements. Lead internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- FAA A&P certificate with IA authorization
- 7+ years aviation maintenance experience
- Experience with SMS (Safety Management Systems)
- Knowledge of Part 145, 91, and 135 regulations
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Leadership experience in a maintenance environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality assurance programs across all maintenance operations
- Conduct internal audits and manage corrective action programs
- Review and approve maintenance documentation before return-to-service
- Manage regulatory compliance and FAA liaison activities
- Train and mentor maintenance personnel on quality procedures
